No special reason for this cover...as if one's needed - it's just such a great bassline in itself, plenty of opportunities for going around the houses in the chorus, and a fair few changes to keep you on your toes. It's a stunner, and there aren't even close to enough Curtis Mayfield bass covers on Youtube - Joseph "Lucky" Scott on this is a master. (I really must stop gurning at some point. I'll end up looking like Anthony Jackson.)
